Vehicle Detail
This car has been in my family since it was new; I have the original factory sticker. I also have the maintaince record for it up to 75,000 miles. It only shows 33,000 miles on the odomitor because it doesn't go to 100,000, but is actually 133,000 miles. I know a lot of these say they are under 100,000 miles but I doubt it. This car was purchased by my brother new in 73 but it was made in 72. The engine is original other than I changed it from fuel injection to a Weber Carb when I bought it from him. I have had it for about 20 yrs and repainted it and replaced several things on it. It runs good other than not idling very well and that is because the automatic choke is not hooked up. It doesn't use any oil and runs and handles great. This is a list of some things still needing some attention. I have the blower for the heater but it's not in the car and would need new hoses. The gas guage quit working after I had pulled the gas tank, probably a connection or fuse. The tach has quit but not sure why. The headlights work fine but I think the dims are burnt out or there is a bad connection there. The window washer tank is not hooked up. I have put less than 5,000 miles on it in the last 20 years it has mainly been in storage. When I bought it I replaced the front and rear seals they still seam to being doing good. It is the side shift type transmission. I know the pictures are not the best but there is also a video I did of it posted on Youtube the link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXE2YYYR6pI. The drivers seat needs to be recovered or a seat cover put on it. It has a couple of small cracks in the dash. It has a current tag and has been driven lately so it wouldn't have to have anything done to it to be able to drive it off. I can answer other questions if you have them and get other pictures if needed. There is very little rust on it that I can see other than the plate that holds the battery.
