Welcome and thank you for viewing my listing. I purchased this 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution last year with 28,500 miles and had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into. This was purchased as a weekend fun car to get away with my wife. Well, we took it out the first weekend it arrived and someone in a 5.0 Mustang kept revving at the light, and… well you know… so… he beat me off the start and then we were pretty much even UNTIL the rpm’s hit 7000 then it was, well the best way to put it, VIOLENT. My wife gasped, turned white, and I was somewhat in shock as the vehicles tires spun and the vehicle started to drift. And…that ended our first (and last) trip together in the car. So, from that point on I used it as a sunny day commuter and found the best way to controllably have fun is to start around 65 and then accelerate up to, well, too fast. I have been up against late model corvettes and locally built mustangs and they are NO challenge for this vehicle and I am not a trained driver in high performance cars with manual transmissions. My friend recently drove my car and he said hands down it would beat his $140,000 2007 SL55AMG- and this was on pump gas. It immediately starts up and appears to be in excellent condition. Turning, shifting, stopping this is an awesome car. To the best of my knowledge and from internet resources this vehicle requires e85 (to get full potential) which I cannot get in Fort Smith. It had a full tank of the racing fuel (possibly e85) when it was delivered and there is a big difference in performance. So, being in my mid 40’s and with my wife refusing to be a passenger and let me relive my youth, I am selling this rocket to someone with a stronger heart. The following is what I know about the vehicle and I have NO previous information on it. It does not run as well with 93 octane. See above… Building a unit like this would cost over $38K Inspection Keep in mind that I took delivery of this car last Fall and I have no prior history of the vehicle other than what is stated in the listing. Vehicle may be inspected by appointment only to serious bidders between 6:00p.m. and 7:00p.m. Monday – Friday and weekends by appointment only. The vehicle is located just outside Forth Smith, Akansas. Registration, licensing, and sales tax are due at your Department of Motor Vehicles. Contact your Department of Motor Vehicles for licensing and registration fees. Buyer is responsible for all registration, licensing fees and sales tax. Check with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration for ALL DMV fees. Winning bidder will get clear Arkansas title with vehicle. Vehicle has current Arkansas registration.
