Vehicle Detail

1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 For Sale: Car is in great shape and runs and drives very nicely. Engine is a 460 V8 big block that was previously went through and rebuilt so the mileage in the car which is at 66K+ miles or so is inaccurate. Its probably more in the area of 5K miles or so. Was originally a 302 engine and is a true 05 coded Mach 1 Mustang. Its got the DOVE heads on it. Holley dual feed carburetor. Weiend high rise stealth aluminum intake. MSD 6 al box for multiple spark. New alternator, solenoid and voltage regulator. Could use a nicer set of valve and breather covers but are nice. Newer exhaust in the car in great shape. Automatic transmission shifts nicely and has a trans cooler as well. Detroit locker rear end in the Ford 9 inch. Its body is super solid with no rust issues what so ever. Solid body panels throughout. The Floor pans and frame rails are solid with no rust issues. I will be posting more close up pictures of the pans and frame rails for you so you can take a look for yourself. It does have a few needs, mostly just small cosmetic things here or there. The interior is in very nice shape and is the deluxe option with the wood grain on the doors and bezel. The door panels are going to need to be replaced. For now, they are decent but have some separation at the bottom of the drivers side panel where the carpet area meets. Its also got some cracking around where the arm rests are but over all not horrible until you get replacements. The dash is in great overall shape with only one crack down the center area. The carpeting and batting is all brand new. The seats are actually great, just have a couple seam cracks in the usual spots for these Mach's on the passenger side seat. They present very nicely and you can get the seams sewed back and they would look fantastic. Back seats are in great shape. The radio was placed in, never checked to see if it worked or not. Has the clock option in the center console. Has many new parts on the car as well. I have the rear honey comb panel for the car, wheel well trim, rear window chrome trim, hood chrome twist down locks. New rims look great and newer tires with nice tread on them. Has a nice look to the way it sits. The paint is Grabber Blue and done by the previous owner. Its not perfect as there are a couple of spots here or there that you cant really spot well and a couple scratches where the front bumper slightly rubbed on the fender. Very small areas. I'll get a picture. I get a ton of compliments on the color of the car, people really think its unique and you just dont see too many of these cars out there any longer so its like a piece of art. The Mach 1 stripping was done very well and is correct for 73. The bumpers are new, front and rear and the chrome really jumps out at you. Have the original front bumper that will come with the car along with a few other pieces and parts like grill and light pieces. Have the original center bezel gauges, there are replacement ones in the car at the moment that look nice but you can go back to original if you pleased. Was originally an A/C car with the controls on the interior and everything but when the previous owner swapped the engine for the big block he didnt put it back in. You can always go back with one if desired. P/S and P/B all work fantastic. Has a nice resonsive and smooth ride. Newer shocks. Front disc, rear drums. I just purchased a park/neautral switch for the car but have a push button in it at the moment that works. Switch will come with the car. New sending unit and gas tank. Will need an alighnment to get the camber correct. That's around a $68 job, just havent gotten around to it quite yet. Body panels and doors were taken off when painted, doors need to be re adjusted a tad but arent bad. Easy fix I just dont have the time these days. Small spot in the trunk, about the size of a golf ball area, not a gaping hole just an area. Not bad at all. New front end steering parts brand new. Overall a great car for the price, could be asking more but Im not trying to kill anyone on the price. If you love muscle cars you'll really enjoy this one. These are worth like $12K low end book value and rising so a great investment. Not quite a show car yet but with a little work she'd be right there. Geat driver, you can drive her as is while you fix her up. Its a beautiful looking car, get a ton of attention with it. If interested or you want to know more about the car just shoot me an email and I'd be glad to respond. -Engine / Transmission / Rear End Info : Its got a 460 V8 big block engine. Rebuilt. Very nice response. Originally a factory 302 V8. Holley 4 barrel dual feed 750 carburetor. Weiend High Rise Stealth aluminum Intake. MSD 6 Al Box. DOVE Heads. Automatic transmission.
