This nice Swedish build mid-size sedan is powered by Volvo’s simple, reliable 5 cylinder engine and automatic transmission. The engine is a little noisy, but runs strong and has all the power it should have. The transmission shifts smoothly. The car has good road manners on the highway. There is some bushing noise in the passenger side front suspension when going over bumps and a slight vibration at high speeds. The car drives smoothly and predictably. The ABS malfunction light is on. However, the brakes stop straight and strong. The white paint on this S70 is in better than average condition for the age and mileage. It has the small blemishes and scratches that accumulate from normal age and wear. There are several inch long dings on the passenger side doors. The wheels are wrapped in a matching set of radial tires with a full set of factory hubcaps. The tan interior is in average condition. The leather seats are in good condition. The leather shows the usual wear and surface cracks. There are no splits or tears and the cushions are comfortable. The carpets do not have an excessive wear.
