Vehicle Detail
1998 Buick LeSabre Custom 4 DR --- Fix it or for parts GM 3800 Series II Engine w/ 11878k, New Transmission in 2008 w/ less than 20k REVISION on 5/11/12 The car hit the jersey wall on the driver side, and the bootie that covers the link between the axle and the transmission is torn, Transmission fluid is leaing, but the car is moving fine when I put it in drive or reverse. My best guess would be that a seal was damaged, hence the leak. Nevertheless,I will lower the "Buy It Now" price for that reason. New Catalytic Converter, New Front Brakes This is my mother's car, it was garage kept and had regular oil changes and service since day one. In trying to avoid some deer it took a hit against a jersey-barrier, the good news is the deer did not get hit. So it's time to retire the old Gal. The GM 3800 Series II has less than 120k and still runs like a champ. The transmission was replaced with a new one in 2008 and has roughly 20k on it. The front brakes and Catalytic Converter have about 1k on them. This GM 3800 Series II engine has great acceleration and reliability, and will easily get up to 300k. The transmission is only 4 years old and has about 20k on it. Wether you repair it or use it for parts, this car this car is easily worth $1300.00, but there is no reserve above the $400.00 starting price. So bid with confidence, the car is worth it. The Buick will have to be towed out of my driveway, and is sold as is. Thank you for looking. Serious inquiries only please. Added: The Car Report lists two owners, the reason is we had it transferred it to my Mother's name after my Step-Father passed away.
