Delivery available at reasonable cost. Up for sale is a pretty nice original 1964 Pontiac Catalina. It has power steering but not much else. I replaced the previous engine with a 65 389 2bl to get the car running, the other had a rather bad knocking rod. The interior in this car is a nice original pattern showing little wear on the drivers side. Carpet, headliner, and door panels are all serviceable. The body is straight, the rust is in the bottoms of the fenders and around the rear wheel wells. The floor, trunk and remainder is all very solid. Paint appears to be all original and is thin in some places and the car shows no evidence of being in a major crash. It is a running driving car but a few things will need attention sooner instead of later. The tires are 25 yrs old and I would not trust them to go very far. I have had the car up to 35mph and the trans shifts fine but the tires wobble around a bit. The exhaust is in place but needs replaces since some of it is swiss cheese. The brakes are soft at best. I installed a new master but it still leaks down so the entire brake system will need replaced. Overall, this is a very nice, solid straight, basically all original 64 Catalina. $1000 down payment due to my paypal acct within 48 hours, remainder payable when car is picked up by cash or postal money order.
