1968 Pontiac Firebird

Up for auction today is a 1968 Pontiac Firebird. It had a custom hot rod restoration performed on it approx. 20 years ago. When it was finished it was one of the fastest cars in the the area. However, It is in need of a restoration again. It was last running approx. 2 years ago. The motor is a SB 350 Chevy with 202 heads. It needs a throtle cable to run. It has an M21 or M22 Muncy four spd. I believe its an M21 though. The trans is excellent. It has 4.11 posi rear with 8.5 inch ring gear. All subframe and rear leaf spring mounts and bushings are solid. The underneath is structurally sound, however it needs a front driver side patch/floorpan. The floorpan in the trunk also needs a patch. It has a golfball sized hole. As well as the gas tank needs to be replaced. The paint is a custom red with metal flake clearcoat, however as mentioned before it needs to be restored. Both rear quarters were replaced. More pictures can be taken upon request. The car was cold idling with 50-60 pounds oil pressure. Throttle cable was also fixed.
