Vehicle Detail
Im really upset that I have to seperate from my truck. :( but my loss can be someone else's gain. In Jan. 2010 I blew the motor in the truck and just decided to build one 100% solid and replace everything since I was gonna have to replace entire engine anyways. The truck then became a couple year garage project cause we've always got something were workin on. Upon rebuilding entire motor and tranny were pulled out. Tranny is a torqueflight 46-RE that I had rebuilt at a local transmission shop. While rebuilding it he also put in a TransGo shift kit and upgraded larger RV torque converter..no stall but I think I need one. The engine 5.2/318 Magnum was broke down to block and bored .030. Victor Rienz oil pump and gaskets. A new Mopar Stock crank was installed with all new bearings. Speed pro hyperutetic flat top pistons with forged piston rods. Next came the COMP computer controlled cam pn#20-604-9 duration 264/274 and lift .512/.512. Edelbrock hardened Moly pushroads, Mopar Purple roller lifters and full roller rockers..motor is a full roller motor. Next came the set of Edelbrock performer RPM aluminium heads pn# 61779 58cc chambers/176cc intake runner. ARP head bolt kit was used on reassembly. I decided to use my stock intake manifold since it had some good airflow but it was taken to my machine shop man and ported as much as this guy could. Next came the Holley high flow throttle body twin 52mm ports. Pn# 112-557. JET throttle body spacer. 26 lb/hr Injectors. SCT OBDII tuner from KRC PERFORMANCE..MSD digital 7 programmable ignition pn# 7530T with laptop connects and a MSD Pn# 8251. Power pro HVC coil 45,000v. New distributor cap. Taylor 8mm spiro spark plug wires with NGK platinium plugs. All sensors on engine were replaced during overhaul..crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, Both O2 sensors, and the throttle position sensor. Also installed was a high flow water pump and radiator with all new hoses and thermostat . Replaced power steering pump and a/c compressor. Installed underdrive pulleys on alternator and main crankshaft pulley. AEM BRUTE FORCE air intake system. Pacesetter pn#72c2213 long tube ceramic coated headers long tubes 3in outlet. True duel exhaust 3" the whole way back with no cats. Truck thumps pretty loud...LOL Truck has Chrysler 9.25 rear end with 4.56 gears in it so its not interstate friendly about 2800rpm at 70mph. OEM genuine SRT limited gunmetal colored wheels with practically brand new good year rubber on them. Wheels are genuine mopar not cheap replicas. Rims are 22" X 9" and I think the tires are 305's. New rear wheel bearings. New headlight assemblys and new front grill. New rollpan bumper. Im selling my truck because I no longer have time for it and I work outta town a lot and this truck would cost me a fortune to drive 400 miles. Not sure of the compression ratio but you HAVE to run premium gas with octane booster or she doesn't run. Many other things not listed but that should get you started. Couple of body damage spots on truck showed in pictures so be aware of them nothing just way bad but I'm not trying to hide anything..also dash is busted forward like on every dodge I haven't included pictures if that but they will soon be posted...so ask me a question if you have one. Odometer reads about 225k miles but all the work noted here was done at 200k miles when I blew the engine. Project for me finished up around 6/2010 and since then I have put about 20-25k miles on her with absolutely no problems. I love the truck but its just not pratical for me with traveling I am now doing for work. She's not real friendly on the pocket once you get on the interstate. Truck had been parked for 6 months and I went out today and she fired right up. Drove around for a bit and everything felt as good as it always has..not super fast but she's got some good power and plenty more potential..most your huge parts will bolt right on to a mopar 5.9 from a 5.2. because my plan was to swap it over but i never got my 5.9..lol,, Contact me with any questions and good luck. I have well over 15k invested in this truck and I know ill be very very lucky to get half of that back. Once again good luck and contact me with any questions. thank you Austin Andrews (251)-269-4329 avail all hours Posted with the eBay Android appOn May-05-12 at 04:29:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I call it a project truck because it was my project..truck is complete with all parts assembled and truck has been running well and driving well every time since the rebuild was done approx. 20,000 miles ago. Truck needs a thing or two but all the expensive motor parts, computer parts, transmission, and wheels and tires. Rough estimate and ill use prices from summit racing where things purchased -Machine shop block work, all new complete engine gasket and bearing set. New timing set and oil pump also: $1125 -SpeedPro .030 pistons and rings. Comp camshaft, Mopar purple roller lifters and full roller, roller rockers : $1000 -Edelbrock performer RPM Heads, edelbrock moly pushrods, ARP head bolts. : $2000 -Holley throttle body, 24lb/hr Injectors, JET TB spacer, AEM brute force air filter intake. : $900 -New radiator and hoses, new high flow water pump, new power steering pump, new a/c compressor, underdrive pulleys. : $800 -Transmission work with total rebuild, shift kit, RV torque convtr. New rearend clutch kit, u-joints, new rear wheel bearings and 4.56 gears: $2600 -All new sensors, MSD digital 7, MSD HVC coil, new dist. cap, Taylor plug wires, SCT tuner OBD II to flash PCM, Pacesetter longtube headers with true duals 3" turn down near rear axle. : $2850 -SRT 10 special gunmetal edition 22"x9" with perfect goodyear rubber literally less than 10,000 miles on the wheels and tires. New front grille, new headlight assemblies, and new rollpan : $2400 And I could keep going on money that I've spent on the truck but really I just want people to realize how much time and money has been put into the truck. This is just a rough number and labor is not included in the prices..just parts. I've spent a ton of money and I just don't want to part it out. I know ill never come close to getting what I've spent the trucks just gotta go. Many things not listed. **************************** ***also if part was mentioned as "New" it was new in 2010 when the build was taking place not new as in today. Like I said before truck has about 20,000 miles on it since build was complete.
