Very good restoration project or do some minor work drive. I purchased this after it had been sitting in the same basement for 25 years. This morris has been off the road since the late 60's. It was originally used as a delivery vechicle in kansas city.It has been off the road since 1968. The previous owner moved the truck around with him until he parked it here in white bluff 25 years ago. I have read that only 1200 were imported during 1959-61, but also I have read that none were ever officially imported. Suspension/Brakes/Exhaust:25 years ago the front suspension and steering was rebuilt and new exhaust installed. It also received a new master cylinder/wheel cylinders, and brake lines. The Brakes function and don't leak but need to be bled more. Engine/Transmission: engine is a 950cc 4cyl. I have just changed the oil and installed new plugs/cap/wires/rotor. The engine runs smooth with no smoke/knocks/rattles. The cooling system is good. I have the following that haven't been installed: thermostat/gasket/ ignition points/condensors.The transmission shifts into all 4 gears and reverse. The truck is not driveable due to dry rotted and leaking tires. Electrical:I have not looked into the electrical yet. The horn works. The headlights/signals don't. The taillights and gauges stay on all the time so the battery has to be unplugged. I don't have time to work on it right now so I am selling it rather than let it sit here. Body: It has some holes in the floor, the spots seem to be isolated so there is still alot of solid metal, the doors, fenders,hood, tailgate are solid, the bed floor center was wood and gone. the rear wheel arches received body work and needs to be redone, the lower panel where the tailgate hinges are has some rust through. The truck originally had hoops and canvas, but they are missing. Interior: the seats are from an old vw and are sitting in the floor. The door panels were originally cardboard and are gone, I have the interior mirror, visor, door and window handles, there is an old oil pressure and volt gauge added. I have the heater taken apart, the core appears good and the fan works. Nearly every part can be purchased for these since were as popular as the vw beetle. I have a clear tennessee title in my name. The morris can be stored indoors for up to 6months if needed after it is paid for. I can also assist with delivery if it isn't too far for an additional cost.
