This 1974 Mint Green MERCEDES-BENZ 450 SL is a convertible in good condition with camel color leather interior and 95711 miles on the odometer. This convertible includes both a hard top and rag top. The rag top was replaced in 2007 along with the rubber window seals and is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. I believe the Mercedes has had 3 owners. It was first purchased in 1974 by Cloud Carpets in Las Vegas Nevada and was driven by the girl who did their commercials. The car was then auctioned off for charity, I believe and then they sold it to us thru a broker. There are a few negatives about this vehicle. (1) The in-dash AC Controls need to be fixed or replaced. The AC runs cold air but turns off and on randomly. (2) One power window switch needs replaced. (3) The lever that locks the convertible/hard top is broken and needs to be replaced. (4) The webbing under the leather seats needs to be replaced; the leather is still in great shape. (5) Odometer skips and at times does not record miles. The mileage stated above is what the odometer reads but the true mileage of the vehicle is unknown. The original stereo and speakers were replaced with Pioneer AM/FM/CD with remote control and two pioneer speakers added to rear deck. Also the original gas cap was replaced. Original stereo/speakers and gas cap were kept and is included with this vehicle as well as the manual we were given.
