The 56 Plymouth convertible is becoming very difficult to find. They are rarer that the 1956 Fury. (I am open to offers) I HAVE A CLEAR ILLINOIS TITLE FOR THIS CAR. I bought the car in 4/05 to build a 56 Fury convertible. I put it in dry storage when I hauled it home from ND and haven't done a thing to it. After retirement in 2009 I had two many projects and will never get to this car. These cars are extremely hard to find in any condition. This car is a project, but a solid base to build from. The frame is in excellent condition. It doesn't have the Engine, Trans, or back seat. The Belvedere trim is mostly there as you can see in the pictures and I have one good front fender and rockers if they are needed. Rockers appear good, but you won't know until the car is stripped. It does have a hole in drivers side front floor and in the trunk. Complete floor and trunk panels and are available for this car if needed. The top bows are there along with the top cylinders. They are the hard pieces to find. I know where to go to get most replacement panels if needed; along with most of the parts locations and would be glad to help the winning bidder locate anything needed. One nice thing about the 56 Plymouth is the 2 DR Sedan body parts are the same as the 2 DR Hardtop and Convertible. Later 50’s Plymouth’s aren't like that. It will make somebody a beautiful car.
