Vehicle Detail
1975 Pontiac Trans Am Coupe, 455 H. O. with 4 spd transmission. Rally wheels (w/Rally wheel spare), hood decal, 3.23 Posi-Trac, new exhaust (re-done with the correct factory exhaust parts) 100% rust free. 1 of 857 produced with the 455/4spd combination. A truly original car with only 23,640 miles. Yes those are the true miles. I have owned this car since 1976. I am the 2nd owner of the car, I bought when it had about 14K miles on it. We had it Ziebarted when we got it (when Ziebart was still good quality) so everything underneath is still totally solid. Over the years we only drove a few times a year which explains the low miles. Everything on this car is original. There is a different radio in the car right now but the original radio comes with the car. I was planning on selling it a few years ago and ultimately opted against it but in the process I got a good deal of history on this car from Pontiac Historic services. I have the original build sheet showing that all the car's options are indeed original, from the factory, not after market ad ons. The paint is original as is the black interior. This car has never been in an accident, but it has a handful (3-5) "garage incidents" resulting is a couple minor scratches. The scratches are not significant and should be no problem for a good body shop. This is as good as you will find for 37 year old paint. The car has been stored inside its whole life so there is no weathering from the sun on the paint or the interior. (No dashboard cracks etc.) I cannot find anything wrong with the interior other than a crack on the windshield. The crack is almost below the level of the hood and I am selling is as is because as far as I know there are markings on this windshield that are unique to the car. If you replaced the windshield you would want to have those marks replicated in order to ensure keeping the car original. There is not too much more I can say about the car, its never been modified or abused in any way, shape or form. You will not find another car in this condition with only 23K miles on it. You are welcome to inspect the car personally if you so choose. Shipping is the responsiblity of the buyer. I will assist you as much as possible, but you will be responsible for picking up the car or securing shipping for it. If you are not serious about this car please do me a favor and do not bid or inundate me with questions. I will be glad to answer any questions you have if you are serious about the car. Please do not call or email about trades, I am not interested. I have a ton of documentation for this car (build sheet, history reports, service records, owner's manual, etc.) that will all go with the car. Rest assured that when you bid that you are bidding on the most original, unmolested Trans Am you have ever seen.
