Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am a wholesaler, not a mechanic. Every vehicle I sell is represented accurately to the best of my ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully and review each of the photos closely before bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR-5. The Toyota 4Runner has earned a reputation as one of the most reliable SUV's available. In addition to having sold dozens, I have owned several personally over the years. I would rate the exterior condition of this 4Runner to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a vehicle of this age and mileage. Overall this is a good looking truck. The red paint looks pretty good for Toyota red. Other than a few small dents on the drivers door, the body looks really good. I did not see any rust on the body of this 4Runner. The alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in deep rubber all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. I would rate the interior of this 4Runner to be in BELOW AVERAGE condition. Although you won't find any excessive wear on any of the seats or carpets, there is a slight odor of smoke in the interior. I have a few options to minimize this...so it may be not noticable by the time the auction ends. I just wanted to disclose this in case my measures are not enough. This 4Runner is equipped with power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof. All of the power options appear to be working properly. The stereo is the original CD system which sounds good. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ice cold air, too! The cargo area is spacious and clean. There are also rear heater controls and vents for rear passengers. Mechanically, this 4Runner appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.4L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke. I didn't see any leaks but you do occasionally smell oil burning off of something hot. These are known for valve cover leaks so I would lean that way. Driving this 4Runner is an absolute pleasure. The suspension feels nice and tight like it should. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes do an excellent job at stopping this truck. It keeps a normal temperature at all times and there were no warning lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. She drives nice and strait down the road with no complaints. With just 128k on the odometer, this 4Runner is ready to go. Finding a 4Runner with low miles in this condition is not easy. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomidating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you may show up and no one is here.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully excercized their ability to complete any diligence needed prior to placing their bid.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
