1929 Ford model A roadster pickup Body New Brookville roadster cab with smoothed original cowl, and original grill shell. One piece hood. Fabricated bed with 32 ford taillights, custom aluminum fuel tank, and rear mount radiator Fabricated bomber style bucket seats with vintage allstate lapbelts. Original style wooden floors. Dash has oil pressure, temp, and speedometer. Speedometer is not hooked up. BMW manual steering box set up for cowl steering. Removable sprint car style steering wheel. Chassis The chassis is 106" wheelbase fabricated from 2"x3" steel it is kicked up in front with tapered rails and 32 ford crossmember. Front suspension is quarter elliptical leaf springs on inside of frame rails. 1940 Ford front axle with split wishbones. 1940 Ford spindles with speedway motors disc brakes Rear suspension features underslung rails and sprint car style torsion bars. This provides a great ride and easy ride height adjustments. Ford 9" rearend with 3:50 gear and disc brakes on rear as well. Corvette master cylinder under floor. Wheels are new wheel vintiques 15x4.5 and 15x8 new radial tires front and rear speedway motors moon covers Engine 355 cubic inch chevrolet. Pro built with very low miles World product torquer heads with roller rockers airgap intake custom built lake pipes with supertrap mufflers Holley 600 carb New hei distributor, one wire alternator, starter, and aluminum water pump. Radiator is rear mounted sprint car radiator with spal electric fan. Transmission is gm 2004r with TCI constant pressure valve body, shift kit and Lokar shifter. Clear Indiana title This truck was built to have the traditional salt flat racer look, while also using modern disc brakes and dependable drivetrain. The underslung rear frame gives the illusion of sitting even lower than it really does, and also protects suspension components.
