I have for sale a WHITE 1965 NSU Spider Convertible Automobile. The NSU Spider was the FIRST PRODUCTION CAR to feature the WANKEL ENGINE. eBay requires a "NUMBER OF CYLINDERS", however, if you know what the WANKEL is, then you know that's not exactly correct. This one is from the First Year's production of the vehicle. Considering there were only 2500 or so made, it is a very rare car for sure. It was made for the German Market, but was purchased by an individual in the Pittsburgh Area who had it shipped directly to New York. (The SPEEDO shows Kilometers, NOT MILES) I have several letters that document all of these things, including the Bills of Sale (Both German and US) and correspondence between the Ship's Captain and the person who purchased the Car. It is in rather rough condition, as you can see by the Photos I have provided, therefore it will be a rather INTENSE Project. Or, due to its rarity, it would make a good parts car if parts are missing from a current restore project.
