It also has a new oversized custom exhaust system from the manifolds back. The motor is a mid 1970s big block Buick with a 4-barrel GM quadrajet carburetor mated to a GM turbo 400 automatic transmission. This Ford has the following options: power steering, power front disc brakes, and a very unique power back window. Even though the inside of the cab was not detailed or sorted out for the pictures, it appears that it would clean up faily well. You will also see a vintage Pontiac tilt column with its original sterring wheel. Some special features on this truck to be noted: still has its original 1929 chrome radiator surround. Also and most important, the cab is in excellent condition. Its rare, oversized cab you will find to be in very good condition. The cab and doors are also nice enough to be used in a period correct vintage restoration. It has a custom stake body on the rear which could easily be swapped out for a pick up bed, which would be your choice. Also the front period correct fenders are fiberglass and are in very condition. This truck was recently acquired after it had been garaged for over 30 years. Fortunately, the previous owners did run the truck on a regular basis. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.--> On May-01-12 at 19:56:15 PDT, seller added the following information: We recently had the pleasure of taking this car out to see how it performed on the highway, and we were very pleased with how it ran down the road and the transmission shifted perfectly. The most amazing thing to me, as the driver, was that the front end was very tight, with no shimmy or play in the wheel at all and the power steering made the entire process a pleasure. This vehicle also has power brakes and the car stops straight. The motor runs smoothly and the sound of the new exhaust system is incredible - not excessively loud, but a very impressive rumble, nonetheless. This vehicle will need to be transported, as both fuel tanks will need to be cleaned, and is currently running off of a temporary gas can. -- With 1 day and 20 hours remaining, bid with complete confidence.
