Here we have another great low reserve auction from C&J Auto. Up for your bidding consideration, we have this excellent running and driving F-450 Super Duty. This is a Cab and Chassis with a Timte Box bolted to the rear. It can easily be removed and converted to a flatbed or dump truck. It might even be good for a rollback truck. The truck has the fuel injected 7.5 Gas engine and a 5 speed stick. It is geared low and will pull anything you want to move. GVWR is 15000 LBS. It starts,runs, drives, and stops exactly as it should. There are disc brakes on all wheels and it stops excellent. The air conditioning blows ICE cold. The transmission goes through all the gears smoothly. The clutch grips firmly and releases smoothly. The tires all have very decent tread left. If you are looking for an affordable work truck, this is it. It is mechanically sound and I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck cross country. There is No rust anywhere. All the glass is good. Horn, wipers, and lights all work. It has manual crank windows and locks. The only 2 negatives I noticed is the passenger side exhaust has a slight leak when cold. It goes away as the engine warms up. The rear fuel tank has a bad fuel pump, so it just runs off the front tank. That's it. Since I am only human, there's a chance I've missed some stuff. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or tests for ANYTHING. This includes emmissions and safety inspections. We cannot guarantee compliance of the vehicle for your state, because every state has different requirements as far as safety and emissions inspections are concerned. Again, YOU ARE BUYING A USED VEHICLE AS-IS/ NO WARRANTY. All descriptions given are a general observation based on very limited contact with the vehicles. Unfortunately, I do not have a crystal ball and cannot predict when something might fail. One thing I've learned for sure in this business .... Anything mechanical can break down at any moment. I don't care if it's brand new. You should expect to do some type of basic scheduled maintenance or repairs to any USED vehicle listed on here, or for that matter, anywhere. The one thing I can promise you for sure is that any used vehicle you buy will need something. In conclusion, it is ULTIMATELY the buyer's responsibility to have fully satisfied themselves as to the overall condition of the vehicle. Titles: We are a licenced bonded, and insured Colorado motor vehicle dealer. All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have a clear Title. (meaning no lienholders). We do NOT knowingly deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That does not mean the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with, it simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of the mileage. We also occasionally need to title these vehicles in our business' name if they are from out of state and do not have room for any further reassignments. This may take up to 30 days, and we have no control over that, as we are at the States mercy .
