Every vehicle I sell is road tested before being offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am a wholesaler, not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately to the best of my ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully and review each of the photos closely before bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Volvo S70 with very low miles. I would rate the exterior condition of this S70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age of this vehicle. Other than a few minor scratches from normal use, the only flaw I could find on the exterior of this Volvo was a thin spot of paint on the trunk which is actually common. The silver finish shines very well and looks good from any angle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The tires look nearly new all around, too. I would also rate the interior of this Volvo S70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for a vehicle of this age and mileage. The door cards are all clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The headliner is clean and tight. The seats show well and are very comfortable. On a side note, I actually prefer Volvo's cloth to their leather. The cloth seats are more comfortable and hold you better while driving. This Volvo is equipped with the desirable winter package which gives heated front seats as well as headlight washers. The power windows, locks and mirrors are all working propelry. The climate control system is also working properly. The air conditioner blows ice cold air, too. The stereo is the original Volvo system with CD which still sounds great. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running condition. The 2.4L inline five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. According to the service sticker, the timing belt has recently been done on this one. Out on the road, this Volvo has excellent road manners. The suspension and steering feel tight. The brakes feel good. The engine runs like it should and makes good power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The check engine light was on when I got this car. The code is for a speed sensor...no biggie. She drives down the road nice and strait with no issues. If you're looking for a low mile Volvo, this would make an excellent choice. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully excercized their ability to complete any diligence needed prior to placing their bid.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect. and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags, title transfer, inspection and transportation expenses.
