Each vehicle I sell is road tested before being offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am a wholesaler, not a mechanic. Every vehicle I sell is represented accurately the the best of my ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully and review each of the photos closely before bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 Saab 9-3 turbo. I would rate the exterior condition of this Saab to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Overall, she isn't too bad for a 200k mile car. The dark green finish has aged well. There is a few spots of minor body damage to note on this vehicle. There are some deep scratches on the roof. There are some scuffs and scrapes around the fenders and bumper. Again, not bad for the miles but not perfect by any stretch. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look decent. The front tires are worn and should be replaced...the rears look okay. I would also rate the interior of this Saab to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The seats and carpet show a few stains from age but are not worn hard. The cargo area is huge which is one of the best things about owning a Saab. The left rear window does not go down...the rest work fine. The pixels are out in the center display which is common as these cars begin to age. The radio works and sounds good. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioning will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. This car is equipped with front heated seats, too. Again, not bad considering... Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running condition. The 2.0L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I was very impressed with how this Saab drives considering the miles. The engine is smooth and the turbo boosts properly. The suspension and steering feel good. There is a slight vibration in the steering which is most likely coming from the previously mentioned worn front tires. The brakes feel great. The transmission engages smoothly, shifts properly and does not slip. The engine keeps a good temperature at all times. These older Saab's are great cars that run and run.
