So please read the listing!!!!!! ON THIS AUCTION THERE WILL NOT BE A BUY IT NOW DETAILS [TOP] 1992 BMW 7 Series 735i 4dr Sedan You are bidding on a 1992 BMW 7 Series 735i 4dr Sedan. This vehicle still runs like the Germans intended it to be; luxurious and classy! The VIN for this vehicle is WBAGB4312NDB69800 and has a build date of July of 1991. There is a current PA state inspection and emission valid until January 2013. If you know anything about Pennsylvania's inspection and emission testing... it isn't easy to pass! Everything needs to be in check and functioning properly! There are 245325 miles on this vehicle but don't allow this number to scare you away! Keep on reading! This vehicle has a 6 cylinder 3.4L Inline Six engine backed with an automatic transmission. The engine just got a new battery according to the seller. The engine ran strong when we had it out for a road test. The idle was smooth and stayed constant and with the engine revved the idle promptly returned to where it should be! The engine also started up with zero hesitation and sustained an idle nearly instantly. The seller states that about every year the engine will burn about quart of oil but it has never been a severe issue. The engine bay is no dirtier than a normal engine bay. The hood shocks are inconsistent at where they want to hold the hood, they are slightly droopy and would benefit from being replaced. They would support the weight of the hood but it is unsure for how long… so it is best to have a hardhat on under these droopy hood shocks! We do have some recent service documents on this vehicle which are as follows: 12/01/2011 @ 244633 miles Oil + filter change, fluid levels checked, tire pressures set, belts and hoses inspected. Brakes had 10/32 on the fronts and 7/32 on the rear. 1/07/2009 2 New Michelin PLT Exalto AS tires 3/06/2008 2 New Michelin PLT Exalto AS tires. The transmission shifted smoothly for our two mile test drive, it had no problems finding the gears and never grinded or slammed gears. The transmission felt to be in fine working condition and had no leaks! All four tires have approximately 8/32nds left of tread remaining and are Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S. The two visible DOT dates on the tires are 4508 and 1607. The exterior of the car is also in good condition; indeed it has a few chips and minor dents but for the age and miles on this car they are almost negligible! There are few dents no larger than a quarter, that are also shown in the photos. The majority of these dents reside on the hood of the vehicle. It appears that both front fenders and the hood have a fresh coat of paint on them. When observed in the sunlight you could notice the slight variation in shades and vibrancy of the paint. With that said, especially on the passenger's side of the vehicle, the paint is looking a tad dull and would benefit from a little love! But from fifteen feet away or at fifteen mph, you do not really notice these imperfections. Onto the interior of the car which shows the age of the car the best. The leather seats are quite dirty but do still feel nearly as comfortable as they did the day this vehicle rolled off the assembly line! The driver's seat has electric adjustments and all except for one of the adjustments was functioning. The one switch closest to the rear of the car, when moved up and down the motor would make noise but it did not appear to do anything. This switch controls the lumbar support which is not that important to any of us. The carpeting is not perfect, but that is to be expected with these miles. There are no holes or distracting stains and it was freshly vacuumed! The driver's seatbelt was slow to retract and seemed to need a little help to be returned to its holding area. Also clicking the seatbelt in really required a direct action, without being perfectly in the clasp the seatbelt would not latch. The interior does have a musty smell to it which may take a little work to get rid of! This vehicle is equipped with a cassette player, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, power locks and power seats! All buttons on the dashboard are functional. The display for the radio station selected is quite dim and next to impossible to read in the daylight. This car even has its original car phone! We are unsure if you are able to still send and receive calls with the phone, but it sure is neat to have! Also, lets not forget about the moon roof and the abilty to open that up and get some sun. What a great way to drive down the road. Included with this vehicle is one key which is the spare key and the BMW Remote Control Vehicle Security System key fob. This key fob has only one button which doesn't really appear to be functioning! The seller states that he has the other key and will bring it in for us. He just did not think to bring it here with the car. The one most major flaw of this vehicle deals with the SRS light on the dashboard, from the time we had it running the light was nearly always flashing. The seller states that this is simply just a sensor error, but we cannot one hundred percent confirm this assumption. With that said the vehicle still passed PA state inspection with the SRS light illuminated on the dashboard. This is an excellent price for an excellent vehicle and will totally exceed expectations! It's an oldie but goodie, this German engineered drivetrain is still very much alive and well! So the next time someone asks you what car you drive, don't tell them you're cruising around in your mother's Corolla, be proud and announce you're driving a BMW!
