Every vehicle I sell is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully and review each of the photos closely before bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a gorgeous 1999 BMW 740iL. The E38 BMW is one of the best cars ever made, in my opinion. I've owned more of these than I can recall. They offer unequalled luxury while giving the driver performance often associated with smaller sports cars. I would rate the exterior condition of this 1999 740iL to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this car. As you can see, this is a great looking car. Finished in Oxford Green Metallic, this BMW carries a very distinctive look and still turns heads in parking lots. There are no noteworthy scratches, dings or dents on this BMW. The grill inserts are a little loose, which is very common. The dark green paint has a mile deep shine all around. The alloy wheels look good and show no major damage. The tires are on the low side of average but not bad. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The 1999 model year saw some minor cosmetic updates to the classic body style including revised headlights, parking lights and fenders. I would also rate the interior of this 1999 BMW 740iL to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The door cards are clean throughout the interior. The carpets also show very well throughout the cabin. The comfort seats are also in good condition and show no rips, holes or cracks. Both front seats are power operated and heated for your comfort. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be in proper working order. The stereo system has a CD changer in the trunk and features steering wheel controls. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ice cold air, too. This BMW comes equipped with the optional rear shades which are all present and working properly (usually the side shades rip). Being the long wheelbase version, the rear passengers experience a gracious amount of leg room which is excellent for long trips. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running condition. The power house 4.4L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I've put well over 100 miles on this car myself and it drives well. The suspension feels good and is pretty tight for the age of the car. The steering is neutral and responsive. The only complaint I have about this BMW is an intermittant vibration in the wheel at 55mph. It's smooth below that...and smooth at triple digit speeds so I'm not sure what to make of it. You can feel it in the brakes, too. The engine makes great power. Doing anything is a 740 is effortless. There is plenty of power on tap for merging, passing or whatever other excuses you come up with to bury the right pedal. The five speed automatic adaptive drive transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The adaprive drive transmission is one of the best automatic transmissions ever made. The shifts are quick and precise. The transmission is almost intuitive and responds quickly to your imputs. The only thing I am aware of that this vehicle will need is a speed sensor. It sometimes makes the traction light and check engine light come on. There are no drivability issues...just a sensor. Overall, this is a great BMW. I would drive it anywhere without a second thought. The older BMW's are very desirable thanks to their great looks, reliability and simplicity. You get to actually enjoy your "ultimate driving machine" without iDrive screwing everything up. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. I buy vehicles traded in at larger dealerships and resell them wholesale directly to the public. Buying your next car through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of buying your next vehicle. Each vehicle is road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am a wholesaler, not a mechanic. Every vehicle I sell is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully and review each of the photos closely before bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a gorgeous 1999 BMW 740iL. The E38 BMW is one of the best cars ever made, in my opinion. I've owned more of these than I can recall. They offer unequalled luxury while giving the driver performance often associated with smaller sports cars. I would rate the exterior condition of this 1999 740iL to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this car. As you can see, this is a great looking car. Finished in Oxford Green Metallic, this BMW carries a very distinctive look and still turns heads in parking lots. There are no noteworthy scratches, dings or dents on this BMW. The grill inserts are a little loose, which is very common. The dark green paint has a mile deep shine all around. The alloy wheels look good and show no major damage. The tires are on the low side of average but not bad. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The 1999 model year saw some minor cosmetic updates to the classic body style including revised headlights, parking lights and fenders.
I would also rate the interior of this 1999 BMW 740iL to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The door cards are clean throughout the interior. The carpets also show very well throughout the cabin. The comfort seats are also in good condition and show no rips, holes or cracks. Both front seats are power operated and heated for your comfort. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be in proper working order. The stereo system has a CD changer in the trunk and features steering wheel controls. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ice cold air, too. This BMW comes equipped with the optional rear shades which are all present and working properly (usually the side shades rip). Being the long wheelbase version, the rear passengers experience a gracious amount of leg room which is excellent for long trips. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running condition. The power house 4.4L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I've put well over 100 miles on this car myself and it drives well. The suspension feels good and is pretty tight for the age of the car. The steering is neutral and responsive. The only complaint I have about this BMW is an intermittant vibration in the wheel at 55mph. It's smooth below that...and smooth at triple digit speeds so I'm not sure what to make of it. You can feel it in the brakes, too. The engine makes great power. Doing anything is a 740 is effortless. There is plenty of power on tap for merging, passing or whatever other excuses you come up with to bury the right pedal. The five speed automatic adaptive drive transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The adaprive drive transmission is one of the best automatic transmissions ever made. The shifts are quick and precise. The transmission is almost intuitive and responds quickly to your imputs. The only thing I am aware of that this vehicle will need is a speed sensor. It sometimes makes the traction light and check engine light come on. There are no drivability issues...just a sensor. Overall, this is a great BMW. I would drive it anywhere without a second thought. The older BMW's are very desirable thanks to their great looks, reliability and simplicity. You get to actually enjoy your "ultimate driving machine" without iDrive screwing everything up. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.

All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Fees:
An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Buyer is responsible for their own taxes, tags, registration, or any other fee due to their State. 30 day transport tags (aka In Transit or temp tags) are available through PennDOT to out of state buyers for a fee.
