For sale is a BMW 1990 325is coupe with manual transmission. General: The car is in great condition. This is the 'is' model. For those unaware, desirable upgrades over the 325i include: sport seats, limited slip rear differential, lower front fascia diffuser, rear spoiler, etc. Other equipment highlights include: power mirrors, power windows, power sunroof, heated seats, leather interior, a/c, driver side air bag, front fog lights, 6 speaker stereo cassette player (original BMW model), ABS, on board computer, cruise control, full size spare, and a complete factory trunk lid tool box! Maintenance: Recent work includes: complete professional repaint with all moldings removed in the original matching red (brillantrot), new tires (all four), new brake pads and rotors (front and rear), stainless steel brake lines (front and rear), inner and outer tie rods (both sides), rear shocks, rear sway bar end links, oil service, valve adjustment, ALL cluster bulbs and OBC light bar replaced, and exterior ambient temperature sensor. Timing belt was changed at 66,000. Exterior: The paint is bright and fresh. Moldings, trim, and rubber are intact. No dents or scratches. Exterior lights function appropriately. No visible body rust in the usual places on cars of this vintage as demonstrated in the photos! Interior: Full leather interior - no rips in the seats or tears in the carpet. Dash looks great! Power equipment functions as it should. Mechanical: Recent maintenance as above. The car rev's freely, the 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly, and the steering and suspension is tight. The body is straight and true without prior accidents. The car idles smoothly. The previous owner installed an upgraded rear sway bar. Brakes and tires are like new! Additional information - Please read! As with nearly all e30's of this vintage, the odometer stopped working - mine stopped approximately 2 weeks ago. I have put an additional 100 miles on the car since that time, so mileage is 110,000. Additionally, the car has a small oil leak on the passenger side, which is most likely the oil control valve gasket. I have purchased the replacement part, which was approximately $15 and I will include it with the car. This is an extremely common issue with e30's. BMW revised the gasket material several months prior to this car's production date in late 1989. There are a lot of e30's out there. I looked for several years to find one as nice as this with original equipment intact that has been well kept without being abused. No accidents, clear title, all original VIN numbers on doors, chassis, and panels. You would be hard pressed to find another low mileage e30 as nice as this, believe me, I tried! I am really disappointed that I have to sell this car, but our family is downsizing to one vehicle for the time being. In this case, my loss is truly your gain.
