This one has a Rebuildable Salvage Title which means it will need an inspection by your DMV after repairs are made to register it again for the highway. Here we have a nice low mileage one-owner 2004 FORD EXPLORER SPORT TRAC 4X4. It has the XLT Pkg. and most of the options. These are very versatile vehicles. They give you room for the family and still have a usable bed for hauling things. We have sold dozens of them over the years but now they are hard to find used ones on the lot. Everyone keeps them till they have a lot of miles before trading them in. As you can see this one is damaged on the right side. It is all cosmetic sheetmetal repairs with no damage to the drivetrain or frame at all. It runs and drives fine with no problems and will be a very simple repair for any qualified repair shop. The Damage that we can see is the right side doors and fender, park lamp, right side mirror, and the right rear door glass. The Windshield has a small crack that is hardly visible but will probably need replaced for inspection. The rear cab corner will need a dent repaired but it is all below the roof line so it will be easy to spot paint. The bedside is scuffed so that will need repainted and the rims are also scuffed so they could be refinished. The front airbags are good, but this Sport Trac has the Side Curtain Airbags that are deployed so those will need replaced so keep them in mind when pricing your parts. The tires are about 1/2 tread and are mismatched so they will need replaced before long. All in all this is a very easy fix for you and it has low mileage for the year so it will last a long time after the repairs. We have seen some of them over 200K and still running great.
