This is a 57 Ford Convertible, originally from California, that has very minimal rust. The underside looks great. Floor supports and inner rockers are solid. Frame still shows signs of black paint in areas. The car is a “C” code 292 automatic with power steering. Door tag reads, 76B for Body, Color is FE, Trim is AB, Trans is 3, Axle is 1. I have a clear title in hand. Top bows are rust free and extremely nice. There is some minimal rust in the lower edges on fenders, rockers and rear quarters. Right front fender around headlight has been bent and repaired, needs redone but looks like solid metal to work with. Floor boards are great on right side. Left side rear foot well and an area in the front drivers side has been cut out by someone, not sure why. It looks like they robbed them for something else, the metal all around the cuts are nice and solid. Trunk is solid and still white factory paint. No rust through around the body mounts like most 57’s. Spare tire well is even still fine.I don’t know a thing about the driveline, the engine looks correct and complete less the distributor cap. I have a very nice hood and front bumper that goes with the car. Even the battery tray is still nice. If you’re looking for a nice solid convertible project, you’ll be hard pressed to find one in better condition. It is very obvious, this car was never stored outside. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early. It rolls just fine, I will gladly help load it if need be. I require a $500 deposit via paypal with the balance due in cash when picked up. I can hold it for a week or two if that helps, maybe longer if mutually agreed.
