Here for auction is a 1954 Ford Customline Club Coupe project vehicle. Vehicle will need complete replacement of floor pans in passenger compartment; however, other sheetmetal, interior and exterior, is in relatively good condition. No major replacement of sheetmetal sections is needed. A major portion (98%) of stainless steel trim items are in trunk area (no key) that was accidently closed by friends helping to push car into storage unit. Items will be photographed and photo posted following retrieval from trunk. This vehicle has the original 6V electrical system, Ford-O-Matic transmission and 239 Cu. In. Y-Block V8 engine. The engine started and ran when it was originally stored. I believe, with clean oil, clean spark plugs and a new/rebuilt carbureter, the engine will start and run. This vehicle has a California Certificate Of Title that shows the VIN # as it shows on the driver side door jamb plate; however, the year model on Title is shown as 53 (incorrect) which will have to be corrected by actual physical inspection at registration.
