Great candidate for restoration or modification. Far from perfect but runs and is quite original. Built in Los Angeles on April 18th 1968, this is an original black plate California car. 270 Model, 318 V8, automatic, air conditioning and comes with original build sheet. I am the third owner, the second was the original owner's friend who bought it upon his friend's passing. The original owner worked in Pasadena at Teledyne and commuted to work with one arm on the door as the wear on the paint indicates, and also drove two-footed, as the brake pedal is worn down to the metal at the left side. Odometer reads 65K but that's not to be believed. All body panels and most paint is original. It doesn't appear the motor has ever been opened. Last summer I installed a new fuel pump and filter and rebuilt the carb. It starts and runs well after it's warmed up. The transmission shift from first to second when at low speeds could be better. Unfortunately the car had to sit outdoors for the better part of two years and now has surface rust that needs attention, photo shows it. Looks like new carpets and a duel exhaust with glasspack was added at some point. All lights work, A/C is not connected, radio is not original. Needs rust repair/paint, headliner re-sewn and probably rear pinion seal and who knows what else.
