This little wagon may not be the prettiest car on the block, but it’s one of the most reliable, cheapest to maintain vehicles you can buy for the price. And let’s be honest, what’s more important in an inexpensive car than being reliable? This Saturn has the Twin Cam 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission,. The Twin Cam engine fires up, runs smooth, and gets great fuel mileage. The only bad thing I can say is that there is a squeaky belt. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The suspension is in good order. It does not shake or pull. The ABS brakes stop straight and strong. This Saturn is equipped with the safety options package. It has ABS brakes, Traction Control, and airbags. The dent resistant plastic body panels on the exterior of this SW2 are in average condition for age and mileage. Overall the bluegreen paint shows well. There is a bit of a scrape on the drivers rear door. (see pics). The windshield is cracked. The tires are a mixed set. They all hold air. The passenger front tire does not have much life left.. There is a full set of matching hub caps in good condition. The interior of this car is in average shape for age and mileage. The seats are not torn and still have comfortable padding, but there are some stains. The carpets, likewise, are not torn up, but are discolored. The original headliner has been removed. This is the most attractive solution to the falling headliners that Saturns were known for. All of the mouldings are still in place, as is the dome light. (see pics) The rear seat folds down to allow larger items to be loaded in the back.This wagon has just about every option that was available from the factory. It has power windows, power locks, and power passenger mirror. All work as they should. AS I already mentioned, it has the safety options of ABS traction control, and airbags. It has cruise control. The factory AM/FM cassette player has good sound quality for an older factory radio. It has intermittent wipers.
