Up For Auction is my 1971 Torino GT. I have about 15 "projects" to finish or move out within the next year because I have to move from this location at that time. So this is one of my favorites, but I know that I will not get to it in time. Damn...after cleaning it up and doing all of this, I really have reservations...this is a real cool car. But here we go! This Torino is a really beautiful "project". It has been totally refreshed in terms of ANY metal defect. Any rust, or other metal damage has been replaced by a professional metal fabricator, and coated with coats of POR-15. It is like new, and it is extremely straight. Underneath, inside, outside, engine compartment, they are all totally clean and refreshed. This car also includes all of the component parts. In fact, it has two or three sets of some of the components. All glass, trim, plastic, nuts, bolts, chrome, it's all there. So let's go over the entire thing: 1) Interior: This car has two sets of interior parts. If you like the green color the headliner is in really good shape, and the door panels and rear trim are good too. There is also a black set of interior trim parts and seat components. The floor already has sound/ heat deadner already installed on the floor (Dynamat?)This is a bench front seat auto trans shifter on the column. All of the plastic interior trim is here. 2) Drivetrain: I have the 351c motor (in several pieces) up on a rack here in my shop (see Pics). It is a 2 barrel block, but I have a set of 4 barrel 351C heads and intake manifold. You'll have to rebuild it, but at least there's something there to work with. I also have a C6 auto trans that goes with it. 3) Body : the outside of this car is amazing. It is extremely straight and has absolutely no rust. You'll have to get the chrome re-done, etc. but that's expected. I actually bought a hidden headlight system for this because I love that look. I am selling it separately on e-bay, as It really cost me a ton. But feel free to look at it and see what you think. 4) wheels/tires: these are actually really nice 14" magnum 500 wheels, and the tires have almost all of the original tread. They are nice. I have actually included the red center caps, which are new. 5) misc: The car has rear air shocks. It came originally with A/C, so all the dash is set for that. It has front disc brakes. This is a really great project car and so very cool. let me know if you have any questions, and I'll be glad to help in any way I can.
