im going to be as honest as i can in this description. up for a sale is a 1989 bmw 325ix all wheel drive automatic e30. i recently purchased this car from the previous owner as a fixer upper. the timing belt broke on this engine. now if you know anything about e30's you know that if the timing belt goes, its time for a new cylinder head or rebuild current head. i bought this car for my personal self to fix up and drive. the business i work for is going chapter 11 bankruptcy so at the end of this month, its very possible that i might not have a job, hence why im trying to sell this car. i have no money to take on a project right now. but fixing these cars is veryyyy simple, if your mechanically inclined this is a very easy job, if your not mechanically inclined this is still a somewhat simple job. as far as i know from what the previous owner told me, everything in the car works. the transmission shifts smooth, the transfer case puts powers to all the wheels, the body is very clean, virtually rust free. the only rust that i saw was on the sunroof panel. i will include another sunroof panel painted the same color with no rust as well. the front bumper is cracked as you can see in the pics. and the back bumper also has a very small crack which is also in the pics. the trim on the bumpers are cracked in some spots. the interior is in great shape. no rips or tears on the seats. it has heated seats for the front seats. the only downside is the headliner where the sunroof is is ripped. luckily another piece that is not ripped will be included with this sale as seen in the pics. the car also comes with hids already wired in i was actually going to start taking the engine apart 2 days ago until my boss told me the bad news. so nothing has been touched. everything in the engine is exactly the way its supposed to be. you wont find any random missing parts or random bolts lying around if you plan on taking this engine apart. if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. once again, this car will need to be towed. i have not driven the car since it needs a cylinder head. the parts alone in this car are worth alot of money since these ix's are getting rarer and rarer. the car will not come with a battery either. under the spare tire, in the pic it looks like a hole rusted through, but there is no rust hole there its just more dirt. you are more then welcome to come check out the car if you are local. i would prefer someone local. but if your buying from far away, please message me for more information and i will try to describe it as best as possible and also take picture requests if need be. here is the photobucket link for more pics. please highlight link and put in address bar http://s241.photobucket.com/albums/ff228/PoloRL57/89%20325ix/ and ill also upload the pics to here as well.
