For those unfamiliar with VW syncro technology, this is an all wheel drive system that automatically turns on when needed. Great van for the snow, the dust, and the regular old street. I love this van but I need to make room for other projects.The van is just waiting for someone to give him a second life. It was running great until few weeks ago, right now it will start with a jump but gets the famous vanagon hicups after 15 minutes and dies. I changed the motor head 4 years ago with a set of brand new gaskets and seals. Last year it got a new O2 sensor and Air flow Meter.The transmission was rebuilt 2 years ago. It is a manual transmission. Condition:There are some dings on the body, rust spots around the window seals and a rust hole next to one of the rear wheels.The interior is 25 years old and you can tell.The current mileage is not accurate. The odometer was stuck when I first got the van and had been that way for I believe 5 years judging by the mileage on the service bills... It was fixed 4 years ago and now works fine.
