Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For sale is a 2004 Eddie Bauer Explorer with 151,000 miles on it. It has the 4.0 Liter Flex Fuel Capable V6 and automatic transmission. Some of the options on this Explorer include the class III/IV towing package, heated front seats, premium 6-disc sounds system, dual stage climate control, third row seats (never been used, factory tape still on them!), and moon roof. I am the second owner of this car, and can attest that even under my ownership (as with the previous owner), the majority of the miles were highway driven (Short of the weekly grocery haul, this vehicle’s primary source of mileage is my trips back to WI on occasion). Mechanically, the vehicle is in sound shape, with maintenance performed at regular intervals. Among the maintenance I've performed on this car within the last year or so includes: brand new tires (less than 3k miles on these), regularly changed synthetic oil, brand new brakes (pads and rotors, less than 5k miles), new plugs and wires, serpentine belt and tensioner, and A/C topped off. Major maintenance and repairs performed on the car before I owned it include a replaced alternator, wheel bearings and a new rear end (those of you familiar with the third gen Explorer will be aware of the weakness of the earlier third-gen units, this one was replaced with a later unit and has been problem free for over 70,000 miles). All of the interior electronics and amenities function perfectly, the heater blows hot and the air conditioner blows ice cold. In terms of body, there are a few door dings and light scratches on both sides of the vehicle, though nothing that a few hours on a Saturday afternoon with a dent removal tool couldn't take care off. There's also minimal scuffing on the rear bumper corner and the rear hatch trim does have a crack as is visible in the photo. The rims are starting to pit near the center of the hub, though cleaning and sealing has seemed to help slow that down. The wheel pictured also has a few minor scrapes from it slipping out of my hands during a tire rotation.
