1970 Mercedes Unimog 421 agricultural model. 4 Cyl diesel runs perfect! It has a 2 speed F&R PTO (Only has shaft to rear), 4 way hydraulic system, air compressor with fitting on tank. 3 Way tipper bed. It Has Portal axles with air lockers, which are very sought after due to the narrowness. Many Offroaders need these exact axles for their Jeep or Land rover conversion. It has a 20 speed trans with Cascade box. E-brake works perfect. I installed a new water pump and rear wheel cylinders, I also had the fuel tank creamed and re-welded. I have a spare 4cyl 220 diesel engine. I bought a brand new Good year Sure grip tire and have the original conti that came off in addition I have a 5th wheel and tire . There is a super heavy duty Pintle on the back along with provisions for a rear PTO centralizer and three point hitch. Due to its size and options it is very sought after for an ultimate offroad truck. It is so much more of a truck than the regular 404 mogs. It has power steering which makes it far greater when you are negotiating the rocks. Between the Full hydraulic controls on the steering wheel, built in air compressor and tank, it is awesome. Has rust on cab but only some surface rust on frame. The tipper bed has rust on the skin but the bed star and framework is still usable. This is far from perfect but with a little TLC it could be even more awesome. This is basically a glorified farm tractor but you could also take it to get some milk. Top speed is maybe 30mph, so you will trailering it home.
