Up for auction is a 1976 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with a 455ci HO (high output) V-8 and a factory 4-speed Manual Transmission. Power Front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Factory Tachometer, center Console, Bucket Seats, Original Firethorn Red with Black Interior. Same Owner last 17.5 years. This Trans Am has only 115,619 actual miles and only 12,000 miles on a rebuilt and built 455 HO V-8, and approximately 500 miles on a complete rebuilt Super T-10 4-Speed transmission. This car has always been garaged for the last 17.5 years and never driven in the rain. This is a rust free West Coast Car. Comes with receipts for performed maintenance, original owners manuals, brochures and a PHS Report (Pontiac Historical Report).
1976 was the last year for the 455 V-8. This 455ci HO has been built to the hilt and runs 13.5 seconds in the quarter mile and I have the papers to prove it. The Built 455 HO has approximately 12,000 miles on it and the Super T-10 4-Speed manual transmission has approximately 500 miles since the rebuild. You can drive this car anywhere, including accross country. Very Dependable and fast. Gets thumbs up everywhere you go.
This Trans Am was originally a 400 V-8 4-Speed Car and a 1971 455 HO V-8 was built and installed. The 4-Speed Transmission is the factory Super T-10. This Trans Am comes with the original set of Factory Honey Cone wheels in good condition with tires.

Paint Condition: I would rate the paint and body on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best I would rate the paint an 8. There are some rock chips mostly on the front nose and light scratches.
Body Condition: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best I would rate the body a 9. There are some very hard to see, very small dings that can only be seen with a trained eye.
Interior Condition: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best I would rate the interior a 9. There is only one small crack on the top of the dash board, crack on the center console and arm rest. Carpet, seats, panels and door panels are like new.
