This is a Classic Vintage 1981 DeLorean complete with the trademark Gull-wing Doors This vehicle has many attributes that other DeLorean owners on this site CANNOT state. Check the eBay FREE Vehicle Reports ***There are NO issues with this vehicle*** I am an avid unique car collector who buys clean cars, makes them better than what I bought, enjoys them for a few years, and then moves on to another 'project' - that is the only reason why I am selling this classic now on eBay. This car is like MAGIC - You will notice wherever you go people will be drawn to it and will ask questions and want to look at it - they may even want to take pictures! This car has won a few local car collector shows with recognitions such as the 'Coolest Car' and 'Most Futuristic'! The vehicle has a CLEAR Title in the State of New Jersey. The car is currently registered in New Jersey as a Historic Antique Vehicle. I bought this car in 2007 in good condition from a local private seller. Since then, I spent much personal time and effort making it a great collectable! This car has all the nostalgia, reputation, and quirkiness associated with this car. The seats were custom made to feature the unique 'Back to the Future' logo. See the pics! The engine has had a complete tune up and rebuild - so that it runs and idols nicely! The gas tank was removed and cleaned after 31 years of residual dirt and grime build up. MOST cars owners on eBay DO NOT do this extent of work. The complete wire harness was replaced. The wire harness in this car is notorious for having issues and 'melting' that can cause other issues that look unrelated on the surface. This process also requires a great deal of patience and time dedicated to getting it right! The body was completely cleaned with the recommended stainless steel kit to give that nice stainless steel shine. ALL exterior black was cleaned and was professionally restored where necessary to bring this car back to the way it looked in the early 80's. The battery is BRAND NEW. The car comes complete with all original manuals and sales brochure. The car has the RARE automatic transmission. The car has the much touted front 'GAS FLAP' attached to the front trunk. The car has a 1981 mid-year low production number. The front trunk interior has a clean rug fit to its original specifications and even the trunk light works! See pic! This car is FUN - it's a cross between owning a clean fun car that you can enjoy, but not feel guilty about using and enjoying what it offers! Parts for this car are readily available and are not prohibitively expensive compared with other foreign sports cars. Information on this vehicle is also readily available online.
