Up for bid is a well cared for 1999 Ford F-150. XLT, Super cab, 4 wheel drive, 5.4 Triton V-8 engine with 184,000 miles on it. The truck has the factory tow package, AM/FM cassette, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, automatic transmission. Work done in the past year: New battery New starter and solenoid New brake lines New emergency brake cable New rear brakes pads, brake shoes, and rotors cut The truck has run fine, and has been very dependable until this past week. The engine has developed a miss. I have been told it could be a burnt valve. The truck still drives okay, but has the miss. The transmission works well, as does the transfer case. Front end is tight, and the brakes work well. The seats are still in good shape with firm foam. The truck has a valid New York State Inspection sticker. There is some rust developing (see pictures) on the bottom, but not bad. The only other issue is the adjusting knob for the temperature setting needs to be replaced, but if you have a pair of needle nose priers, it adjusts just fine! A/C needs to be recharged.
