Vehicle Detail
Thank you for looking at my auction. This is a very rare, highly collectable, and low mileage Fiero GT. This is the last year the Fiero was manufactured (84-88) and it was the 562 to the last Fiero ever made. In 1988 there were 6,849 Fiero GT's made and of them only 614 had the T-top factory ordered. This was the factory code CJB and was a special order that was performed by Cars and Concepts prior to reaching the dealer. In addition, the factory performance sound option (subwoofer) makes this an incredibly rare Fiero. I purchased this car from the original owner in 2006 (Carfax available). The car was in original condition when I purchased it except for battery, wipers, tires, brakes, keyless entry. I had the following work done once I purchased the car. The nose of the car was pitted from bugs that were not washed off so I had the nose repainted. The alternator was replaced with OEM (original equipment manufacturer). The A/C compressor was replaced with OEM (this was difficult to find OEM due to the part number changing 6 times since new, but I found it). The air conditioning was converted to R134A. Ignition wires and spark plugs replaced. The front dash and subwoofer speakers replaced. There is a defect in the drivers side sail panel. It has about 4 or 5 small pea sized crazing marks (see close up photo). This can be replaced with an aftermarket sail panel. But I left it in place because I could not find OEM. I have taken this car to the Fierorama, an annual all Fiero show hosted by Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts (www.fierofocus.com). This is a great event of about 100 Fieros that gather from around the US and Canada. I was awarded the following Low mileage best in class 2006 Low mileage best in class 2007 Low mileage best in class 2008 Low mileage class winner 2010 Low mileage class winner 2011 I had the car appraised for insurance purposes in 2007 at 17,768 miles (detailed report available) for a value of $12,366. The hands down authority Paul "Mr. Fiero" Vargyas, publishes a price guide every year for the Fiero community (www.paulvargyas.com/Price%20Guide.htm) and he ball parks it at $9750. With the options and the show winner pedigree I started the bidding at $10,000. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you
