Sorry, my mistake, I apologize. So to re-word it according to how it can be worded, the truck "ISN'T" a Diesel. Anyhow,..... Here we have another low reserve auction from C&J Auto Sales. Up for your bidding consideration, we have this excellent running 1997 Ford F250 HD 4x4 pickup. It is equipped with a 7.5 V8 and a 5 speed manual with overdrive. It has the rubber floor mats instead of carpet that can get moldy and ruined. The truck fires up immediately and runs like a top. The engine doesn't smoke, have any blowby, or drip. There are no unusual noises coming from the engine at all. The transmission rows through all the gears smoothly and quietly without any syncronize noises. The clutch grips tightly without any chatter or issue. The 4x4 goes into low and high range as it should. The windows are manual roll up. All the glass is good. The Goodyear 265/75-16 E tires look like new to me. There are some nice looking wheels on the truck that could still use a little buffing. It also has a nice toolbox in back. The heater works great, but the A.C. needs charged. It has dual fuel tanks and both of them operate properly as far as the gauges and pumps. This is an extremely powerful truck ready to pull just about anything you could throw at it. It also isn't hard on the eyes. As nice as it looks , there are several scratches, dings, dents, etc... that are consistent with a truck of it's age and miles. most of them are on the drivers fender and door. The truck is not new, but it looks very decent. If you are looking for perfect paint or a show truck, this isn't it. The underside is very dry and rust free. The original 15 year old Ford muffler is still in place and not rusted out!!! You may see a little surface rust on the front fenders from driving down gravel roads, but it's not typical rot from the inside out. There is a brake controller already under the dash and a stout looking gooseneck hitch installed. The front and rear of the truck have built in 2" reciever hitches. The bed has a nice spray in bedliner. The radio is aftermarket and sounds great. This would be the perfect truck if you have something heavy to tow. It would also make a great snow plow truck. You won't believe how nice it is overall for it's age. That's pretty much the stuff I see. Since I am only human, there's a real good chance I've missed something. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or tests for ANYTHING. This includes emmissions and safety inspections. We cannot guarantee compliance of the vehicle for your state, because every state has different requirements as far as safety and emissions inspections are concerned. Titles: We are a licenced bonded, and insured Colorado motor vehicle dealer. All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have a clear Title. (meaning no lienholders). We do NOT knowingly deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That does not mean the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with, it simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of the mileage. We also occasionally need to title these vehicles in our business' name if they are from out of state and do not have room for any further reassignments.
