Hello. Up for auction is my 1991 GMC Syclone pickup. The GMC has only 19,000 original miles on it. This Syclone is a museum quality vehicle and would make a fine addition to anyone’s collection of rare high performance vehicles. I have owned many high performance collector vehicles in the past such as several Mustangs, a Shelby Mustang , Dodge Challenger, Pontiac Firebird and a TransAm and the performance and acceleration of the Syclone is far superior to all of them. It is a rare collector vehicle that also has the modern conveniences of all wheel drive, fuel injection, ABS brakes, air conditioning, AM/FM stereo cassette and power windows. Even though this is an all wheel drive pickup GMC does not recommend driving it off road, they do not recommend towing with it or carrying heavy payloads either. This truck was designed only to haul Butt! I have enjoyed it now for two years and am its 3rd owner. During my ownership I have fully serviced the vehicle and taken care of the maintenance items it has needed and to the best of my knowledge it needs nothing at this time. It is a truly a turn key vehicle. I would encourage out of state buyers to fly to California and drive the truck home instead of having it shipped. In the last year I replaced the original spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, air and fuel filters and heater core with new factory GMC parts for preventative maintenance reasons. The transmission filter and fluid have been changed as well as the transfer case fluid. The tires are brand new Firestone FireHawk’s which are the same brand and type as oem equipment. Also the clear coat on the wheels was removed and re applied at the same time to give the wheels a brand new look. The Ca. registration has just been renewed and will expire in January of 2013. The Ca. DMV required me to have the vehicle emission tested to renew the registration and the truck passed California’s strict emissions test with flying colors, virtually no tail pipe emissions at all. If the winner of the auction resides in California the truck will need to be tested again for change of ownership and title transfer purposes so I will have the truck retested at my expense. The vehicle has always been owned by classic car collectors or enthusiasts since new and never been used as a daily driver. The vehicle was sold new in Southern California and has always remained in Southern California and still retains its original issue 1991 California license plates. The first owners were Tom and Sandi McRae (founders and organizers of “The Interstate Batteries/History Channel/Coker Tires Great American Race”), purchased the vehicle new from Reynolds GMC in West Covina Ca. The vehicles second owner and myself reside in Orange County. Interested buyers are welcome and encouraged to inspect the truck in person before bidding. This Vehicle is for sale locally and I have the right to end the auction early unless the reserve is met and then it will run to the end , thanks.
