Up for auction is this 1954 GMC 1/2 ton pickup truck. This truck is a running and driving project that looks great the way it is. The body is sitting on the frame of a 1975 2 wheel drive Chevy truck frame. Already has power steering, power front disk brakes and a 12 bolt rearend.This truck is powered by a smooth running 327 v8 engine backed by a 350 turbo tranny. This truck starts. runs and drives good. Cosmetically this truck is all good solid metal. need very little body work if you wanted to paint it, however it looks great the way it is. The paint is not perfect but is in very good driver quality. The cab corners have been replaced by the previous owner but were done well. The bed floor has be replaced with the steel floor from the doner 75 model truck. There is no wood in the bed as there is supposed to be. The truck has all new glass and seals as well as two new chrome front and rear bumpers. The interior of this truck needs some attention but there is a lot to work with. It has the tilt steering coluumn out of the 75 model. The seat is also from a later model but is in good shape. There are no covers on the door panels and the window cranks and handles on the door need to be replaced. There are no guages in the truck. The truck has 4-15 x 8 vette rallys and 4 new goodyear eagles 215-60-15. The tailgate is solid but again need some attention. Truck has a complete flowmaster exhaust system. All headlight ,taillight, breaklights horn and wipers all are in working order.Please look at the pictures carefully .This is a project. But it is a 1954 Model.
