As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2003 Audi A4 3.0L Convertible has no physical damage. It was sold as a fresh water damaged vehicle. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. No middle man involved. Most of the major internal electronics in working order. Dash display, radio/stereo, climate control, headlights,..etc all worked at the time of testing this vehicle. Looks like the interior carpets did get wet but probably did not get high enough to cause any major damage since the car starts and engine runs great. No bad odor or smell inside. The good news is that the car starts, engine runs great and we're able to drive it within our lot. Engine runs excellent and sounds great. There are no major warning lights on the dash and all looks normal. No water signs in the trunk. No water in the engine oil. We did notice the power windows and power doors not to work but we did notice the windows to go down an inch or two at every time start of the vehicle. Since the windows don't operate normally the convertible top does not operate with the push button since the windows have to roll down automatically prior to top opening. Dash display says top cannot be used. We had several of these light fresh water flood A4 Convertibles over the past few months and the symptoms are the same as described above. Driver seat power does not work but heat does work. Glove box is broken from its hinges. Has great looking tires. Equipped with CD Player, Heated Seats, CD changer, Bose stereo and more. XENON HID headlights operate. Pics clearly show the overall condition of the car. Paint shines excellent and overall great condition of the car indicates it was probably well maintained and garage kept. Again, the car starts, engine runs excellent, all airbags in tact, no major dash warning lights and we're able to drive it around within our lot. As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2003 Audi A4 3.0L Convertible has no physical damage. It was sold as a fresh water damaged vehicle. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. No middle man involved. Most of the major internal electronics in working order. Dash display, radio/stereo, climate control, headlights,..etc all worked at the time of testing this vehicle. Looks like the interior carpets did get wet but probably did not get high enough to cause any major damage since the car starts and engine runs great. The good news is that the car starts, engine runs great and we're able to drive it within our lot. Engine runs excellent and sounds great. There are no major warning lights on the dash and all looks normal. We did notice the power windows and power doors not to work but we did notice the windows to go down an inch or two at every time start of the vehicle. Since the windows don't operate normally the convertible top does not operate with the push button since the windows have to roll down automatically prior to top opening. Dash display says top cannot be used. We had several of these A4 Convertibles over the past few months and the symptoms are the same. Driver seat power does not work but heat does work. Has great looking tires. Equipped with CD Player, Heated Seats, CD changer, Bose stereo and more. XENON HID headlights operate. Pics clearly show the overall condition of the car. Paint shines excellent and overall great condition of the car indicates it was probably well maintained and garage kept. Again, the car starts, engine runs excellent, all airbags in tact and we're able to drive it around within our lot. A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES
We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.
We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed).
