1986 Volkswagen Bus Vanagon GL 2.1 Liter waterboxer engine, automatic, power steering, gray exterior and interiors. Excellent condition and well maintained, Has a new cold A/C. I have owned it for over a year, the previous owner were acquaintances of mine and had purchased it in Dallas and bring it to South Texas back in 2006. Features:Excellent driving, always starts, never fails. Never in any accident.Huge cargo capacity. Seats are in great condition.Original complete headliner.Exceptional condition for its age, paint looks great, shiny, no peels or fades. Minor scratches.The engine was overhauled less than 6,000 miles.New brakes, gas tank, sending unit and shocks.Lowering h&r springs. Audi fat fives 17" wheels with spacersCustom made center cap (over the original Audi center cap) Continental tires with less than 600 miles. Front 225/45/17 Rear 245/40/17 ContiProContactNew exhaust and cat.1991 lock set (one key opens all except glove box)and most important No rust, No leaks.Front windshield has chips (already repaired)It goes up to 75 miles on freeway without problem.All electrical works properly. ( I have the smoke side markers too) The bad:It has one little rip on the middle seat arm rest of about 1/2 inch.Carpet needs a clean up.Windshield has a line on the corner (picture)It has 3 minor dents (picture)One tail light has a minor crack. My mechanic told me, it probably needs transmission support.The cooler fan is directly connected to the ignition switch (indicator light flashes) but everything works perfectly. I am a Volkswagen fan and this vanagon is fun to drive, eye catching and have received lots of compliments. The reason for selling is because I have recently purchased another Volkswagen project and don't have time to use it as much as I would like to. I have hung on to it for several months because I LOVE IT but I have to let it go, hopefully to someone who is going to enjoy it as much as I did.
