RARE - Right hand drive 1972 Triumph Spitfire Mark IV. Purchased from a fellow in Leeds UK while I lived overseas and imported to the US. Currently has PA Antique tags. 4 cylinder, 1296 cc engine with dual STU carbs. Right hand drive with a 4 speed manual transmission. It is not hard to get used to driving on the wrong side, trust me. Pimento Red paint with tan and black interior. Original matching hard top installed and included. Black soft top is also still tucked into the space behind the seats and can be reinstalled with the change of 4 bolts. Engine runs very well and starts right up. Full restore in the late 90s while still in UK, since I bought it I have only had to replace the vac advance on the dizzy, the headlight switch and the battery. Paint is in good shape. Interior, suspension, drive train and engine are in very good shape. I need to sell it to get my 1966 Mustang back on the road with two kids there is not quite enough room in the Spit for the whole family. Full disclosure section. The car has the following small issues: 1. paint starting to chip under the doors (see pictures) 2. horn works intermittently. have a short somewhere I haven't found. 3. when I changed the headlamp switch I got the wrong -US- version from the Roadster factory and the high beams don't work. Likely a post mis-match on the US switch, they worked before the switch went bad. You would need to find the correct -UK- switch and replace. 15 min job.
