I buy vehicles traded in at larger dealerships in volume and resell them wholesale directly to the public. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. I am a wholesaler, not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately to the best of my ability from the findings of our road test. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a fairly rare 1996 Nissan 200SX SE-R. Most people reading this will already know what they are looking at. In case you don't, the SE-R designation gives your average Nissan a fist full of performance upgrades...most notably the SR20DE engine. Outside of SE-R Sentra's/200SX's, NX2000's and the Infiniti G20, the SR20 was a Japan only engine. It is basically bullet proof and loves to rev. Additionally, the SE-R option gives upgraded seating, aerodynamics, suspension, wheels and transmission. I'm by no means a Nissan expert. I would rate the exterior condition of this 200SX SE-R to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age of this vehicle. Overall, this is a great looking little car...and very hard to find. The white paint shines well. As usual, this 200SX does have a few spots of rust. I noticed some at the right rear fender and under the drivers door. Otherwise, this is a great looking little car. door sag is minimal. The SE-R specific alloy wheels look great and are wrapped in good rubber all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. I would rate the interior of this 200SX to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The door panels are clean and tight. The headliner is clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The SE-R specific seats show very well and are aggressively bolstered for driver support. A full set of owners books are included as are two keys and two remotes to the keyless entry system (batteries dead). The climate control system appears to be working properly. The stereo system is the original Nissan equippment with optional factory CD player. The display is dim on the radio but it works as does the CD player. The antenna doesn't go up so reception isn't the best. The truck is very large for a smaller vehicle. I believe this was a one owner vehicle that was traded on a new Nissan. Pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle. Mechanically, this Nissan appears to be in good running condition. The 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension, steering and brakes all feel great. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth as well. During the time I've driven this car, it has shown excellent road manners. It cruises easily and handles way better than I expected...way better than my last SE-R which was a first gen.
