Here we have another great, low reserve auction from C&J Auto Sales. First of all, I would like to mention that the ugly green on the side of the truck is just a stick on wrap (decal). It can easily be peeled off with a heat gun and it's NOT PAINT. This truck has an excellent working Western plow installed and is ready for work. The plow goes up and down, side to side just like it should. The plow lights work great also. The truck has 94K miles on it and the engine runs powerful, smoothly and quietly. The V10 makes tons of torque which is perfect for plowing. There are no check engine or other warning lights on of any kind. The undercarriage is about as rust free as I've ever seen for any plow truck. All the power windows and locks go up and down like they should. The heater and A.C. work Excellent! The radio works great. Wipers work. The windshield has a crack along the bottom of it, not in the line of sight. The front seat shows some wear from sliding in and out of the truck. The dash has the usual "Dodge" cracks on top. The interior is in decent shape, however it has not been detailed. All the gauges seem to work correctly. It goes into 4x4 high and low range exactly like it should. The quad cab door on the drivers side is the only noticeable body damage to the truck. I think it could be repaired fairly easily. The back tires have very good tread. The front ones are pretty worn. With the "Buy it Now" button being used, ($6000) the truck will have 2 new front tires, a new windshield, and a fresh detail job before buyer takes delivery. There are all the cosmetic dings, dents, etc...that you would expect for a work truck of it's age and miles. Fortuanately, Colorado is extremely forgiving on vehicles as far as rust is concerned. You guys from the Northeast won't believe how rust free the truck is! That's pretty much all I see. Since I am only human, there's a real good chance I've missed something. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or tests for ANYTHING. This includes emmissions and safety inspections. We cannot guarantee compliance of the vehicle for your state, because every state has different requirements as far as safety and emissions inspections are concerned. We do NOT knowingly deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That does not mean the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with, it simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of the mileage.
