You are bidding on a rare MG TF-1500 (only 3,400 were made) that has been fully mechanically restored and with the body and interior partially restored. Engine, exhaust, and mechanicals were rebuilt in 1998 by Robin automotive at Sears Point Raceway in Sonoma, California (copies of all invoices are available upon request in PDF format). The car has the original leather interior with some minor blemishes and scratches. The paint is in good condition and shows some blemishes and cracking. Many exterior chrome parts have been replaced (parts from Moss motors invoices available) or restored. Front grille has middle slat broken which will require full removal for repair. Top frame and interior repainted and all new door handles, dash components and steering wheel. Wire wheels have been repainted with new center hubs. New battery, spark plugs, oil change (Lucas Oil), and oil filter, which has been converted to accept modern filters. Runs great. Gauges all work. Accuracy of speedometer is unknown and odometer no longer functions.Stored in garage in California. No rust. Great Sunday driver or starting point for full on concourse restoration.
