Vehicle Detail

1923 T-Bucket A great father & son project! This has been my baby for quite a while now. We were members of the NTBA back near the beginning. (National T Bucket Alliance) http://www.nationaltbucketalliance.com/index.aspBeing a "Buckethead" is a way of life. What a great group of people and their really fun cars. It's a little odd finding a group of drooling "gawkers" standing around your carwhenever you come out of a store, but, seriously ...... ya get used to it! We drove this vehicle for several years and recently took it apart for the restoration. It is all there and ready to be re-assembled.Health and finances require me to sell it now as I am unable to complete the job. The definition of life: “that which happens while you are making other plans.” The pictures that you will see of it in burgundy red paint are what it looked like before being disassembled. ***** OK guys ..... too many of you are just looking at the pictures and not reading the ad. ***** No, it is not assembled. & Yes, it is all apart. This is a PROJECT car. O_o Before you jump in, turn the key and go do burn outs ... it will need some wrenching, sanding, and planning on your part to re-assemble it the way you like it. The block is professionally built. A GM 010 block with 4 bolt main bearings, balanced & converted to 383 stroker, 10:1 Keith Black pistons, Speed Pro rings, Scat internal balanced 383 crank, turbo 350 trans, Dana 44 Rear end. Tempered windshield glass, New Jet Hot headers and side pipes in “Sterling”, Weld wheels 15x15 / 3-1/2 back set, Mickey Thompson Tires. Tan color convertible rood (never mounted) Cam was engineered to sound good, but allow easy driving. 112 degree lobe separation Duration: Intake 220 @ .050 Exhaust 230 @ .050 Lobe Lift: Intake .500 Exhaust .510 High rise Edelbrock manifold and dual Holley carbs, or a mid rise Weiand 7546 manifold with a new Edelbrock 750. New headers and side pipes, Dart 160/202 iron heads, "BEEFY" Dana 44 rear end. New chromed conversion kit for disk front brakes, and the “motorcycle” style spoked wheels with Metzler tires. New “Painless Inc, T-Bucket wiring harness kit. Rolling chassis. Body-off. Soda blasted to remove old paint down to original gel coat. Structural reinforcement has been completed. The body and I think ... the frame were made by BIRD ENGINEERING back in the mid 60's.The front axle is from a '63 Econoline van. The rear has coil springs and shocks. This "bucket" has excellent ride and handling compared to many other T-Buckets. I have over $10,000 in just the parts and labor.Clean Missouri title in my name. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items. Morning Unclepossum Just wanted to make sure that everything in your picture link, did go with the car, l.e.d. light bar, rear mirrors, exc. IS it going to be a problem to ship the car apart, can you prepare everything to be shipped? Whats old Unclepossum going to charge old stroker to do that? Do you have calipers for the motorcycle front wheels? I saw the brackets, but not the calipers. One last thing, all i need is a battery and i can drive this little baby home .....right? Hey, don't blow a head gasket! Just kidding.... Got a kick out of reading your response to Salam. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Good morning back at ya Stroker***, Yes, everything pictured (for the car) in the photobucket link will go with the car. Plus a few other things that aren't in the pictures, like misc nuts and bolts, flywheel, TH 350 transmission, drive shaft, windshield etc. As far as shipping it all apart being a problem ... I don't know. I did not offer to ship the car, you will need to arrange for your own shipping. If the winning bidder wants it shipped, I can help by getting everything packed into boxes with address labels attached. I will make a crate for the engine block also. I will do this packing for free, but cannot be held responsible if something is lost or arrives damaged. There are no calipers for the front brake conversion yet. I had only just started collecting those parts. However, the original "drum" brakes are still installed and they do a really good job of stopping the car. Thanks for your interest, unclepossum
