Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1995 GMC Topkick. The truck is very clean with NO rust or major damage, the truck was originally from North Carolina so it has spent almost all of its life free from road salt. The paint is nice but has some scratches and nicks/dents as with any vehicle this age, but I would consider it well above average. The interior is nice and has alot of options that were left out of these trucks like AC and radio. The only downside is that the seat has seen better days. I was going to put bucket seats from a similar year Chevy pickup in it, they bolt right in. The tires all have 80% tread left except one that is down to about 25% (I had a flat and just put that tire on, the truck comes with the original rim), the rims are 22.5 NOT the smaller 19.5. The engine is a 7.1L 427ci, it runs flawlessly. The truck has a lot of power and has no problem hauling a full load with a trailer up a grade. The oil has always been changed every 3000 miles. The cooling system was just serviced. It has a K&N air filter. Both batteries have been replaced within the last 2 months; they are heavy duty fleet batteries. The truck has 4 wheel disk brakes, both rear calipers are new and the truck has new brake pads all around. The front end is very tight with the kingpins showing almost no wear. The GVWR is 33,000 lbs, but the truck has electric over hydraulic brakes, so it can be registered for use without a CDL. The truck has dual 50 gallon fuel tanks, but we usually only use the driver’s side. Both fuel sending units are new. The truck needs an AC compressor; the truck currently does not have one on it. The clutch on the original one seized so we just took it off and put a smaller belt on, everything else is there. The bed on the truck is a 10’ flatbed hydraulic PTO dump with stake pockets, it is in great shape and lifts just about anything you can put in it. In between the cab and the bed is big aluminum tool box. The transmission is a 5 speed with a split rear. The starter is new. I will have the decals professionally removed before the new owner picks it up. I will also give her a bath and detail the inside if I can. Any question feel free to ask.
