Adding a Buy it now price.... she needs the money quickly. 1997 Red Dodge Neon EX 2 door hardtop (make a good work car) Title in hand. Nothing special here, Runs and drives. My neighbor wants to sell it so I agreed to sell it for her here on ebay. It has a remote control and a control box on the top of the steering wheel for a 10 CD disk changer in the trunk of the car. It has the Chrysler insignia on it so I assume its factory, dont know for sure. I dont know if it works. Also has AM/FM Cassette player, it works. It has some rust rot on drivers side door bottom edge and passenger side as well. Paint is faded and wearing off. What i know this car needs is a O2 sensor which the lady told me it needed, thats why dash light is on. It needs 1 front tire real bad, bad tire makes steering wheel shake. Car rattles a lot when driving and i believe it to be the worn out shocks on the car, when going over speed bumps there is little to no bounce. I have been driving it back and forth to work and the fuel gauge hardly moves at all, its on a quarter tank and has been on there for a while. She said the fuel gauge works. Speedometer works off and on so I suppose it needs a speedometer cable. Selling car as is and with no reserve... I have best described car as much as I know about it. Any questions please ask. I would recommend trailering vehicle because of the one bad tire and the shocks being worn completely out. Im not sure about how dependable the car is but it seems to drive and shift okay. Car will sell at no reserve here on ebay. It just needs to go is what she says. She has two daughters and a baby on the way so the car is messy inside. Salvage yard offered her $600.00 for it so thats where the bidding starts. This car has a clear title. The car is to good for a junkyard. I was just reading the Vehicle check on here and thought I would clarify somethings for you. A few years ago the vehicle did have a loan on it and it was repo'd by the bank, the ladies boyfriend went to the bank and paid off the note for her and got the car back. Also when she was getting ready to sell the car she lost the title somewhere and I gave her the money to get a duplicate title. As far as emmisions testing, she doesnt remember having to do that in Illinois. Payment. "No Paypal" Winning bidder has 7 days from the day auction ends to pay for the car. 2 weeks to get it picked up. (Plates expire.) Payment methods are cash and cashiers checks. payments must clear bank before winning bidder takes possession of the vehicle and title. I have no problem assisting in shipping of vehicle but its all at winning bidders expense. Before title and car can be released to the winning bidder payment must have cleared bank. No personal checks, cashiers check and cash are the two methods of payment that will be excepted. Please dont bid if you dont plan on paying for the car, this lady needs the money ASAP. I dont care if you have 0 feedback or 100,000 feedback, as long as your a serious bidder and you pay for the car. Happy bidding and thanks for looking. 3/17/ 2012 3:50 PM . Just came from the auto auction and they had a purple one of these, same year, everything except it didnt have a 10 disk cd player in the trunk and it was wrecked so bad that hood and door didnt close correctly...
