BLACK PORSCHE CARRERA 911 4S. Original California owner (non-smoking). This Porsche was the official "Launch Car" for the 2006 lineup. A black coupe with Sand Beige FULL LEATHER INTERIOR (including dash, console, shift lever, side panels, etc.) This all wheel drive, big engine Porsche has a 6 speed manual transmission and every extra, including the Sport Chrono Package (special trip computer with electronic logbook & dash-mounted chronometer), Cruise Control, GPS navigation, AM/FM radio, Bose stereo (13 speakers), retractable moon roof, remote 6-disc CD player, and Homelink. A phone can be integrated with the electronics & stereo system. The body design (seen in photos) has the same wide rear body style as the Turbo Porsche with large 305/35/19 rear tires. It has Bi-Xenon(TM) headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) (automatically levels the headlights to adjust for vehicle attitude during braking and acceleration) and automatic dimming Interior and Exterior Mirrors. It also has heated bucket seats with memory for two drivers (seat & mirrors). The 4S engine is the larger 3.8Liter 355 HP horizontally-opposed six cylinder engine (zero to 60mph in 4.6 sec and top speed of 182 mph). In the dashboard-selectable Sport Mode, the engine management system recalibrates the engine parameters to maximize performance. This Porsche also has a special sport exhaust system with four exhaust pipes. The 4S model comes with more robust four-piston calipers on all four wheels, derived from the 911 Turbo. The Porsche Stability Management System enhances braking effectiveness by sensing when the accelerator pedal is released quickly and/or if heavy pressure is quickly applied to the brake pedal. Fuel tank capacity 17.7 gal. and 11 cu.ft. storage volume. The car weighs only 3250 lbs. EPA mileage is 18/24 mpg. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system employs sensors that monitor all movements of the car's body and modify the damping force on each of the wheels. It has a Normal Mode and Sport Mode which sets a harder damper rate. If the car is driven aggressively in the Normal Mode, PASM automatically switches to a harder rating within the Normal setup band. All electronic data is integrated into the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) System. This system includes the GPS Navigation system, Extended Navigation Module, and Electronic Logbook (records trip time and distance with route recording and back-tracing). Special displays allow detailed analysis of performance data from the Electronic Logbook. A high-speed fiber optic network transmits audio and navigation data to minimize communication noise.
