Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The Jeep Grand Cherokee represents the best value in a used SUV available today. They offer a lot for the money and are very inexpensive to maintain. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of the vehicle. The plum exterior shows pretty well for its age. There is a small spot of rust on the drivers door at the mirror and some rash on the front of the hood. Otherwise, the body appears to be rust free. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The tires have average tread all around. Overall, this is a good looking Jeep. Please review the photos closely. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of the vehicle. In fact, my only complaint with the interior of this truck is the aftermarket sunroof. The installation doesn't look great and the seal is crap. Otherwise, this interior is pretty nice for the miles. The carpets and doors show well. The seats are pretty clean. The headliner is obviously rough. This is a common issue with Jeeps...the sunroof doesn't help any. The stereo sounds fine. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The power windows, locks and mirrors all appear to work. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running condition. The 4.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I did not see any leaks. The engine keeps a steady temperature and good oil pressure. The brakes and suspension feel good. The steering wheel is about 30 degrees off center when driving strait. It doesn't really fight you. It feels like someone replaced something and tried to line it up themselves. A proper alignment should take care of that. The engine makes good power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly.
